Hey Mom,Family and Friends!
This past week has really been an awesome week for both Elder Walker and I! After weeks of fasting and praying to find a new investigator, we were at a linger longer after the block meetings, and we felt like we needed to go sit with this Indian couple and their baby. Well come to find out, they are not members and they came from a small island off the coast of Madagascar! How cool! So the wife Nima invited us over to her little 1 person hotel room she is super cool! What an amazing backstory she has as to how she and her husband Siwan ended up in the small town of Magrath! But it's really cool because she has had experiences while here where she has felt the holy ghost, and she even told us that she loves to just drive by the Cardston temple because she can feel the peace that comes from it! I mean she is so ready! Her husband is still really Hindu and is stuck in his ways because he hasn't felt what she has. But that was our little miracle! I'm excited to finally teach someone who knows nothing about the Church and really wants to learn more!
Transfers are this week, but Elder Walker and I are staying put here in Magrath! I honestly love it here so I don't mind at all! But in our district there's 3 sets off missionaries, sisters and elders in Raymond, and us here in Magrath. Our district is becoming a full training district as Elder Moore and Sister Z (she's german, idk how to spell her name) are gonna start training new missionaries and I am still being trained! It's sad to see the other Elder and Sister leave though! They were pretty cool!
That's really sad about Arlene.. I keep her in my prayers! Tell her I love her and am thinking about her! Grandma Athalee also.. So my car is in the garage now!? Yay! I'm kinda happy that my car takes priority over dads car! LOL!! That's actually really funny!! Its also good to hear Grandma Pat is doing good! I'm glad she has more good than bad days, thats always a good thing!
Physical therapy does not sound like fun at all! Sister Barton really kinda chastised me about taking pictures! Haha I love her! I'm gonna try better to send pics of Elder Walker and I! But like I said, the teaching pool here is extremely small so I don't have a whole lot of people to get pics with!
Going to Sister Bartons today to make a cake or something :) Then to dinner at a house we don't know.
