Fun Week in Lethbridge!

Hello Mom and family!

This week has actually been a pretty awesome week. On Tuesday after our P-Day, we had dinner with this older couple who love the missionaries. Like they insisted that anytime we have an open dinner we need to call them because they always want to feed us! Then we went to a scripture study class that the Garry Station elders are in charge of and nobody showed up.. Yeah sad but whatever. Oh and I forgot to mention, but we don't have our car this week! So we have been walking everywhere which is good.

On Wednesday we had an appointment with an investigator named Barry.. Well that could have gone better I think! After that lesson we felt that we needed to drop him as an investigator because he doesn't really have intent to meet with us. He an awesome guy and his girlfriend is a member but I think she is pushing it more than he is willing to go right now.
We also had dinner with our ward mission leader which ended up being me having a nerf gun war with the children while the "adults" talked upstairs.. Sometimes you've just gotta have fun! Lol then we helped with a move and had another member teaching appointment.

Thursday it was raining.. And we didn't have a car so we were on bikes... It was so much fun though! We had our last interview with President since he is going home at the end of the month. My interview went really well, talked about how I can improve my teaching and important things I learned from serving in Magrath. Definetly gonna miss President Miles.. Or "Steezy P" as we like to call him!  then we had dinner and biked to young men's! I got soaked by water! Haha its actually exactly how I thought a mission would be.. Lol!

Friday we entered a lot of area book stuff into our electronic version which took a long time. Then we had a lesson with another investigator named Japhet who is from Nigeria. He is really religious and has no problem with the Book of Mormon but we invited him to be baptized and he said he has already been baptized by the Anglican church. We are still working with him and I really think that he will understand why he needs to get baptized again. We also had our final lesson with our 9 year old Caleb, and it was good. He understands a lot and wants to get baptized bad! Lol so we are trying to get them to church as they are a whole inactive family. Also Elder Kretchmann from Germany is on exchanges with me starting Friday night and going to Saturday night.

Saturday was an interesting day.. So we decided that we were going to tackle the Sheran Park Ward because we are both new. Well I have no idea where Ward boundaries are or anything.. Just kinda got thrown into everything! So we literally walked all day and knocked on doors.. Not the funnest day of my mission! Plus it was a Saturday so not a whole lot of people were home. Needless to say my feet hurt! Lol but we had a good Spanish dinner with the Telfers, which was called Paiaya.. it was pretty good! Then we tracted more and finally the day was over and we exchanged back!

Sunday we went to church from 9-4 and it was fast Sunday! But it was cool because our investigator AND two inactive families came to church! It is such a good feeling to see those people who we are working with come to church! Then we had dinner and went for a walk through the park here. We met this really cool guy and talked for almost an hour and he asked if we could add him on Facebook!! This is why missionaries are allowed to use Facebook, such great things can come out of it!

Monday we had a Zone Training Meeting which was so long! Then we went to Taco Bell with our Zone leaders which was so fun!

We also went to the ward family home evening which was a gong show and then went to teach two eight year old boys getting ready for baptism. Then we got a call from the zone leaders saying that we can go to Waterton with them! So we called President and he said we can go!

So P-Day was our trip to Waterton! It was really fun and super pretty even though it was burnt down last year from the fires. We also stopped by Cardston to get some pictures at the temple and stuff. We had dinner at these people's house and helped us fix our bikes so that was pretty cool! I love hearing from you guys and I pray for you all everyday! It's such an amazing opportunity I have to serve a mission and to experience all of these new adventures! I would never trade them for anything! Stay strong, stay safe!

Love, Elder Seanzee
