ANOTHER SNOWY WEEK IN CANADA!

Hey y'all!!

How was everyone's week? Well however bad it may have been, just know that we got even more snow here in Canada! Yay us!! Haha so just a little about my week:

Tuesday: After emailing, Elder Walker and I traveled to Raymond to play some games with the elders and sisters there because it is Elder W's last free P-Day here in our district as he is expecting to be transferred out of Magrath because he just trained me. So that pretty much leaves me in Magrath with an entire stake and a new companion.. Yeah it's gonna be chaos for a little while here! lol But anyway, after we played a couple games we returned to our apartment where I started to clean because I just got in one of those moods. Then we had dinner at a members house which consisted of sweet potato mashed soup.. Then we went to Raymond for exchanges so I was in Raymond from Tuesday night until Wednesday night.

Wednesday:  We spent our morning playing bingo with the older people in the home, then we spent the rest of our day moving two people into new homes.. Both while it was snowing.. If you haven't caught on yet, I really don't like the snow! So Elder W came at night and picked me up and took me back to Magrath.. I was so sore I had to take a bath! Ugh!

Thursday: honestly it was a pretty uneventful day.. It's our weekly planning day so we just made a lot of plans and really tried to talk to a lot of our potential investigators and such. But it's so hard because everyone has southern Alberta directions.. Like I'm looking for the Gorham family.. Well their address is "if the Stringhams are on the corner, then the Grahams are 3 down from the convince store on the left not the right side" ?? It's near impossible to find anyone here!! lol

Friday: we did our usual bingo with the older people in the Good Samaritan society home. Then we went to the Diamond Willow Lodge where we played bowling and pool with the seniors there. Honestly I love Fridays because pool is so much fun playing against Tom (who's like 90)!

Saturday: General Conference!! Did you watch it? If not, you missed out! Wow it's just a way different experience watching it on a mission rather than at home. Because I'm thinking "how can these messages help my investigators?" so it keeps me a little more alert. We spent the day at the Bartons watching it.

Sunday: We drove out to the Spring Coulee chapel parking lot where Jerom Bennett picked us up and took us to his parents home where we watched the morning session and had a turkey feast for lunch! (he picked us up because they live out there and don't really have an address..) after lunch we went back to Magrath to watch the last session of conference with the Bartons again.(how about them changes to home teaching, eh?) After conference they had us for dinner and then we played the game of life. Thus ended our very long Sunday!

Monday: During Sunday and overnight, we were "blessed" with another three inches or so of snow! We had to go to District Training Meeting in the morning and the snow plows still hadn't been out at all! Let's just say it was a very scary 15km to Raymond! And by the way, our Nissan Rouge doesn''t do well in snow! We've gotten it stuck so many times it's rediculous! After DTM we went to Subway (as usual) because we get free food there! .. We ended our day with a lesson to a 8 year old boy who recently got baptized! And we followed up on a potential who asked us to come back another day so we showed up and they asked us to come back because they were all going to bed! Everyone here goes to bed at like 9 it's crazy!

We were able to attend the Cardston Temple and it was awesome! I did some of our family names :)

Here is my scripture of the week for you.

Alma 26:12
"Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever."

Hope everyone is doing ok.  Tell all family and friends hi and thank you for all the emails :)

Love you all, Elder Seanzee
